ALMOST CHRISTMAS!

It is not really beginning to look much like Christmas...at all...but the day is drawing nigh nonetheless. I wrapped most of my gifts this morning. I am just waiting on the remaining orders to be delivered to the house so I can wrap those too! I cannot wait for everyone to open what I got for them! I love gift giving! It warms my heart when I know that the recipient genuinely likes and is thankful for whatever I give to them. I especially enjoy watching the looks on the faces of my parents on Christmas morning. They are so touched that their little girl got them something and I am usually pretty good at picking out something they end up LOVING! :) And yet, as thrilling as gift giving is for me. I strive to ALWAYS remember The ULTIMATE gift: That of Jesus Christ, the Son Of God, to a lost, dying and desperate world. I for one would be lost without Jesus Christ dying for my sins and saving my soul. I shutter to think what my life would be if Christ was not real and strong in my life. I have dark days just like everyone else, sure. But by His Power and His Spirit, I don't have to cope with thosen dark days by reaching for a bottle, popping a pill, harming myself or lying down with another man for the rest of my life! He, ( Jesus), has set me free from all that junk and because He lives, I never have to return to the darkness ever again. I am now and forevermore shall be, a child of His Marvelous Light!

  1. I read all your blogs honey .... I am so overwhelmed with pride to know that you are my daughter! So much of the wisdom you speak comes from your relationship directly with God and I can take no credit or pride in doing anything! He has taught you, and taught you wel! And, in many ways, you teach me! We have experienced so much together .... the good, the bad, the ugly. But, we come through stronger in our relationship and in our individual relationships with the Lord! I love you and am thankful that you are my daughter!
